Why is the New York Times relevant?

They are built on their past reputation as a trustworthy news source but they are just a corporate mouthpiece. Just like NBC is for GE and ABC is for Disney. They promote their product and push so called news that will drive people to their products and services under the guise being relevant. It is nothing more than a smokescreen. You get more relevant news from Reddit and LiveLeak than any news agency these days.
